Delmarsun Delmarsun

'Stuart Harcourt proves to be a hidden Australian talent. His latest CD Delmarsun is an excellent example of great Australian song writing gelled with a tight mix of acoustic guitar, violin and drums.
If you were a fan of Paul Kelly’s work in the 1990’s, you will strike a chord with this album as it has a similar feel. But Harcourt also adds an edgy raw energy not unlike that of The Dave Matthews band. The title track, “Delmarsun” (track 5) is sure to go down with Harcourt fans as a classic, but also listen out for the upbeat edginess of “Walk” (track 3) and the darker, powerful feel of the “Deadline” (track 8).
Delmarsun builds on an already strong musical history, but really show cases a new level of maturity for Harcourt, who’s song writing is only moving from strength to strength.
Overall this album is sure not to disappoint and will restore your faith that home grown Aussie talent still “rocks on”.

Coming of Age Coming of Age

'There is definitely some talent on show during these ten songs, the time when the music takes a funkier, jazzier feel is where he comes into his own'

Goodtime Rushhour Goodtime Rushhour

'This is so well recorded and professional, in particular the guitar chords and rhythms are real sweet, excellent song writing and smooth vocals'

'While it's clear Stu is more than partial to a jazz inspired guitar lick, he doesn't let such inclinations tie him down. In fact he shows a commendable ability to skip genres on this 5 track EP'
